  • Air Force announces second and third B-21 Raider bases

    The SECAF has approved the 2nd & 3rd basing locations for the B-21 Raider, the Air Force’s newest bomber. Those bases are Whiteman AFB, Mo., & Dyess AFB, Texas, in that order. Ellsworth AFB, S.D., was previously selected as the 1st base to receive the B-21.

  • The 509th Bomb Wing Executes Agile Combat Employment Training

    More than 100 Airmen & DOD civilians from the 509th BW rapidly boarded a C-17 Globemaster III & departed from Whiteman AFB for a Field Training Exercise at Ft. Smith, Arkansas, to help train Airmen on Agile Combat Employment concepts, with support from the Arkansas National Guard.
