91st Missile Wing celebrates Women's History Month

Female Airmen from the 91st Security Forces Group pose for a photo at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, March 8, 2024. March is Women's History Month, an occasion to heighten awareness of the contributions women have made in history and continue a long-standing tradition of excellence in American society. The first Presidential Proclamation designating Women's History Week was passed in 1980 by President Jimmy Carter. After several months of petitioning, the National Women's History Project reached their goal in 1988 when President Ronald Reagan, along with Congress, designated the month of March as Women's History Month.
