History made in honor of Women's History Month

Capt. Gloriemar Torre Santiago, Unit Security Manager, 23d Bomb Squadron, Hometown: Carolina, Puerto Rico. "Woman who inspired me: CMSgt Suzette D. Cherry (Ret.) - Chief was my Sponsor mom at the US Air Force Academy who taught invaluable lessons throughout my time in Colorado. While many of my other Academy brethren found themselves paired with officers, I'd say I got lucky to be paired with not only her but her husband as well who was a Chief. The biggest lesson I took away was to always take care of my people and always present an image that would make my peers and fellow Airman want to follow and come to me for help or just to have a conversation about their lives and aspirations."
