AFGSC partners with Kalogon to modernize innovative B-52H Stratofortress upgrades

A member of the Air Force Global Strike Command Strategic Plans, Programs and Requirements Directorate tests out a B-52H Stratofortress smart seat cushion prototype December 6, 2023, at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. Kalogon, a company that builds seat cushions for wheelchair patients, has been working with the A5/8 as they create the smart seat cushion while executing a Small Business Innovation Research (SIBR) program that allows small businesses to explore new opportunities for research and development.
