‘Doomsday plane’ goes digital

Amanda Combs, with Mass Virtual, takes photos to accompany the 3-dimensional scans of the E4-B's potable waters system inside of the 595th Command and Control Group's hangar at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, on March 15, 2023. A team from Mass Virtual's headquarter in Orlando spent a week with the 595th maintainers scanning and photographing the "Doomsday' jet in order to recreate a hyperrealistic digital copy for virtual training purposes.
