From left, U.S. Air Force Capt. Nikole Poupart, 37th Helicopter Squadron flight commander; Senior Airman Bradley Veeder, 40 HS flight engineer; Capt. Andrew Hood, 54 HS instructor pilot; and Tech. Sgt. Brian Puranen, 37 HS flight engineer, pose before their flight on the AW139 helicopter for an exercise on the east coast of Ireland Oct. 27, 2022. The U.S. team visited the Irish Air Corps (IAC) to enhance their understanding of the AW139 in preparation for their transition to the MH-139; the exercise demonstrated the aircraft’s capabilities and allowed the 20th Air Force members to become familiar with the IAC’s tactics, techniques and procedures.
