Dyess recognizes Medical Professionals Appreciation Day
Senior Airman Megan Zavala, 7th Medical Group, poses for a portrait as part of Air Force Global Strike Command's Medical Professionals Appreciation Day at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The Air Force Global Strike Commander, Gen. Tim Ray, declared Dec. 18 “Air Force Global Strike Command Medical Professionals Appreciation Day” across the command. Because of MDG Airmen like Zavala, American service members have been medically ready to serve and deploy around the world 24/7, safeguarding U.S. national interests and those of our allies and partners. Bases throughout the command held special events and ceremonies to recognize the medical professionals who have worked tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
