Patient receives prescriptions by 509th MDG COVID-19 innovative pharmacy operations
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nathan Jones, a 509th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron bioenvironmental technician and pharmacy augmentee, delivers prescriptions to a patient outside the 509th Medical Group, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, March 20, 2020. The medical group’s pharmacy implemented curbside pickup pharmacy procedures. The new service allows individuals with called-in refills and activated prescriptions to park in a designated parking spots and have their prescriptions delivered to the car.
