More than surviving
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Lauren Palmer, a 509th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander support staff personnel craftsman, marshalls a B-2 Spirit at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., May 4, 2016. Palmer was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in October 2014. Now cancer-free, Palmer was given the opportunity to marshall a B-2 and see how aircraft maintainers play a critical role in Whiteman’s deterrence mission.
