AFGSC history office unveils new facility

Yancy Mailes, Command Historian, shows off a chest containing “bomb com” cups awarded to various Strategic Air Command wings for their annual competition. Several of the cups are displayed in front of the chest. The new Global Strike Research Facility will house these artifacts as well as command archives for both SAC and AFGSC. Staff will have the ability to check out several of these lineage items for command events (Air Force Photo by TSgt. Ave Young, Air Force Global Strike Command Public Affairs).
