28th BW welcomes home Airmen from record-setting deployment

Approximately 350 Airmen returned from a deployment to Southwest Asia at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Jan. 24, 2016. During Operation Freedom’s Sentinel and Operation Inherent Resolve, Airmen broke previous deployment records by dropping more than 4,850 munitions in six months, and employing around 2,200 munitions in a single month.
