Search and rescue training
The silhouette of a UH-1N Huey helicopter from the 40th Helicopter Squadron hovers over the Montana skyline near the Rocky Mountain Front during a search and rescue training sortie Nov. 19. The stokes litter, a stretcher designed to transport people from the ground to the helicopter while in the air, is slowly lowered by the on-board flight engineer for a simulated search and recovery mission.
