Bryan Battaglia, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, discusses the book “Noncommissioned Officer and Petty Officer: Backbone of the Armed Forces,” during an Enlisted All-Call with more than 400 members of Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar at the Coalition Compound Theater Oct. 8, 2015. The book, Battaglia said, is one-of-a-kind and provides a comprehensive explanation of what’s expected of enlisted leaders across America’s armed services. During the All-Call, Battaglia also discussed professional development, joint missions and the Department of Defense’s bi-annual award review.
