Civic leaders local to Fairford receive tour of B-52

Security forces members from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., check the identification of local civic leaders before a tour of a B-52H Stratofortress at Royal Air Force Fairford, England, June 9, 2015. Local civic leaders came to the base to learn about the B-52 and its capabilities as well as how the pilots operate the 50 year-old aircraft. The bombers will conduct training flights with ground and naval forces around the region and participate in multi-national exercises BALTOPS 15 and Saber Strike 15. Combined training and theater security cooperation engagements with the United States’ allies and partners demonstrate all organizations share a commitment to promoting a peaceful and stable Europe.
