Staff Sgt. Joshua Kerschner, 576th Flight Test Squadron missile handling technician, inspects the securing strap around the transporter-erector tower Feb. 20, 2015 before the Minuteman III booster is lowered into place at Launch Facility-10 for Glory Trip-214, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. The unarmed missile was later launched to a test range over 6,000 miles away in the Pacific Ocean near the island of Guam, making it the longest recorded Minuteman III launch ever.
