Adm. Cecil D. Haney visits Minot
A UH-1 helicopter carrying Adm. Cecil D. Haney, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) commander, takes off from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Nov. 17, 2014. As part of his ongoing series of visits with nuclear deterrent forces personnel, Haney traveled to the missile field to tour a site and view a demonstration. The 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing at Minot support USSTRATCOM’s nuclear deterrence mission set by operating and maintaining both B-52 Stratofortress bombers and Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles.
