Recapture and secure

The Convoy Response Force personnel assigned to the 91st Security Forces Group recently participated in numerous required exercises to validate tactics, techniques, and procedures in the event of real world incidents. This particular exercise consisted of a Mission Category 1 movement to a missile site. While en route, a mock improvised explosive device was detonated disabling the command element’s vehicle, creating an impassable road separating the rear response elements from the resource vehicle. CRF personnel swiftly assaulted, recaptured and secured the resource from enemy personnel. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Kristoffer Kaubisch)
