Stratofortress participates in Green Flag
1st Lt. Reed Elsbernd, 20th Bomb Squadron B-52H Stratofortress pilot, scans the horizon during a Green Flag-East training mission over Fort Polk, La., Aug. 21, 2013. The B-52 is capable of flying at high subsonic speeds at altitudes up to 50,000 feet.
