Practice makes perfect

Firefighters from the 5th Civil Engineer Squadron work to put out a fire in the shell of a simulated B-52H Stratofortress at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Sept. 6, 2013. Live-fire training ensures firefighters are able to perform required core tasks in the event of an aircraft fire to protect lives and government assets. Training opportunities like this also helps base firefighters to keep their airport certification valid as well. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Andrew Crawford)
