Active-shooter training
Airman 1st Class Andrew Peterson, 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron, aims a training weapon at Staff Sgt. Nathaniel Giblin, 90th Security Support Squadron training instructor, who is playing the role of an active shooter during a training scenario in the 90th Security Forces Group Tactical Response Force shoothouse Sept. 19, 2013. Airmen from across the 90th SFG underwent training on how to counter the threat of active shooters on base. Instructors placed the trainees in unpredictable scenarios they might face in a real-world active-shooter situation to familiarize the defenders with their roles as first-responders.
