40th Helicopter Squadron

Great Falls, Mont. - A four man Tactical Response Force team from the 341st Security Forces Group waits as a UH-1N helicopter assigned to the 40th Helicopter Squadron lands in a grass field near Launch Facility I-04 before taking the team back to Malmstrom AFB. In addition to supporting missile security operations, the 40th can quickly shuttle personnel around the 13,800 square mile missile complex when the need arises. The squadron is also routinely requested by civilian agencies for search and rescue assists throughout Montana and northern Idaho and Wyoming. (U.S. Air Force photo/ John Turner)
