Global Strike Challenge Winners

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- The 13th Bomb Squadron from the 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. was awarded the Tibbets Trophy for best B-2 squadron during Global Strike Challenge at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 17. On behalf of the unit, Capt. Daniel Knerl accepted the trophy named after the 509th Composite Group’s first commander, Col. Paul W. Tibbets, and presented by Maj. Gen.
