5th MXG showcases skills during Global Strike Challenge
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Airman 1st Class Jason Vanover, 5th Munitions Squadron maintenance crew member, helps to assemble unguided conventional bombs during a practice run for the second annual Air Force Global Strike Command Global Strike Challenge here, Aug. 16. Minot Airmen from both the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Missile Wing participate in this year's AFGSC Global Strike Challenge during the months of June through November to showcase the world's premier bomber and ICBM force and to recognize outstanding AFGSC personnel and teams.
