The "Getting Back Up" Tour
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Kurt Yaeger, BMX rider and actor, and Erin Simmons Nemec, X-Games silver medalist and Olympic athlete, visited Team Whiteman with the Air Force Global Strike Command “Never Quit” series May 11, 2012. Yaeger and Nemec visited with Airmen at their duty stations to discuss resiliency. Yaeger and Nemec took part in judging a barbecue contest and Yaeger gave a BMX bike demonstration at the skate park.
