F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Deputy Secretary of Defense Bob Work visited the 90th Missile Wing, here, Feb. 24, where he had the opportunity to meet numerous Airmen from the base.
During his visit Work received briefings from Airmen on the ICBM mission and learned about the challenges faced by Airmen who provide the nation with round-the-clock nuclear deterrence.
As part of his visit Work was able to have lunch with several NCOs from F.E. Warren, along with tours of the 90th Maintenance Group and the 37th Helicopter Squadron. Work was also able to observe a launch facility recapture demonstration from the 790th Missile Security Forces Squadron.
