Iron Chef Global Strike Challenge

Airmen from the 5th Force Support Squadron compete in the first Iron Chef Global Strike Challenge competition in the Jimmy Doolittle Center at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Aug. 10, 2015.

Three teams of three chefs from 5th FSS had one hour to complete their meals for the judges. At the start of the challenge, competitors were given a secret ingredient -- beets, which had to be incorporated into their dishes.

The judges included: Col. Jason Armagost, 5th Bomb Wing commander; Col. Michael Lutton, 91st Missile Wing commander; Col. Kelvin Townsend, 91st MW vice commander; Col. Roy Collins, 5th Mission Support Group commander; and Chief Master Sgt. Dugger, 5th FSS superintendent.

The winning team consisted of Staff Sgt. Jeremy Reynolds, 5th FSS missile chef supervisor, Staff Sgt. Ralaun Kidd, 5th FSS food service supervisor and Senior Airman Tanise Leitch, 5th FSS food service journeyman.
