Offutt Breaks Ground on two more Campuses

The Offutt Flood Rebuild Program Management Office will break ground on the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Campus at 8 am and the Operations Campus at 11 am on Friday, May 3, 2024.

The Operations Campus will co-locate the 55th Operations Group and its mission partners who have been conducting their missions from 16 different locations for the past five years. The 55th Operations Group is the largest in the U.S. Air Force, operating in five different locations world-wide 24-hours a day. The contract for this campus was awarded June 2023, and is scheduled to be complete mid-2028. 

The Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Campus will house operations and Alert Force billets for two missions: the E-4B National Airborne Operations Center and the E-6B Looking Glass. The contract for this campus was awarded March 2023, and is scheduled to be complete mid to late 2026.
