KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Col. Darren Duncan, United States Strategic Command command chaplain, and Master Sgt. Holly Lodin, USSTRATCOM senior enlisted leader of Religious Affairs, visited Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., Jan. 17-18.
Chaplains from the 377th Air Base Wing, 58th Special Operations Wing, and the 150th Air National Guard at Kirtland convened to confer with Duncan and Lodin, assessing the current status and advancements of the Chaplain Corps mission. They effectively communicated the purpose, methods of support, and outlined the necessary resources or guidance essential for enhancing community development and success.
“It’s great to see higher headquarters here,” Staff Sgt. Alicia Bullard, 377 ABW religious affairs noncommissioned officer in charge, shared. “We are able to understand how USSTRATCOM is here for us and what role they play in what we do here at Kirtland.”
Duncan served as the Chaplain Corp commander at Kirtland in 2015.
