AFGSC Inspector General takes oath

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. --  Gen. Thomas Bussiere, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, administers the Inspector General Oath of Office to Col. Terrance J. Holmes, Aug. 14, 2023. Holmes is Air Force Global Strike Command’s Inspector General and is responsible for conducting fair, independent, impartial, and professional inspections and complaints resolution across the command. Additionally, Holmes is responsible for inspecting and reporting on all matters affecting command readiness, discipline, efficiency, and economy for the MAJCOM Commander. AFGSC IG personnel are the “eyes and ears” of the AFGSC Commander and serve a critical role in ensuring AFGSC maintains a safe, secure, and reliable nuclear deterrent force. While the focus of AFGSC IG is to improve excellence, drive readiness, and increase lethality of AFGSC and associate units, AFGSC IG’s goal is to be the best IG inspection team in the Air Force. Bussiere also previously served as the AFGSC Inspector General from December 2010 to June 2012.
