Staff Sergeant Stephen Vil is an Electrical Maintenance Team Quality Assurance Evaluator for the 91st Maintenance Group. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Vil became a member of Team Minot in November 2013.

[What I like about Minot is] “Definitely the people. They’re very friendly and there’s a good sense of community,” said Vil. “[What I like about my unit is the] Camaraderie, there isn’t a coworker who I can’t picture myself not having a good time with and getting along with.”

His duties include assessing the quality and proficiency of the maintenance of the technicians, who are trained here at Minot before getting sent out to perform at the missile fields.

“[What keeps me motivated are] My wingmen, just being able to look out for them and help them achieve their goals,” said Vil.

With a deep belief in helping and serving others, Vil spends his free time volunteering and serving the community and would like to become a first shirt in the future.
