Airmen from the 5th Civil Engineer Squadron participated in an Expeditionary Training Day at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., June 1, 2017. More than 60 CE Airmen participated in the training, which consisted of four flights completing an array of deployment-type tasks. The day began with a “bag drag” and 6-mile ruck march, followed by tent set-up, rappelling, helicopter hoists, search-and-rescue training, convoy operations and Self-Aid and Buddy Care. The unit held the event to better prepare their Airmen for combat deployments. (U.S. Air Force photos/Senior Airman Apryl Hall/Senior Airman J.T.
