Project Rollout Timeline for AFGSC Acquisition Demonstration Project

A graphic published online to the Air Force Global Strike Command website on July 29, 2026, was created and published to inform the public about AFGSC's Acquisition Demonstration Project, or AcqDemo, which is an alternative human resource management pay and personnel system that provides managers and organizations with increased flexibilities in recruitment, staffing, classification, performance management, compensation, and employee development. AcqDemo was developed and implemented to provide the Department of War with initiatives designed to enhance the effectiveness of personnel programs and processes by being a system that retains, recognizes and rewards employees for their contributions to an organizational mission and supports their personal and professional growth, provides managers greater flexibility in the assignment and movement of personnel to meet mission requirements, and provides civilian hiring authorities and pay flexibilities to enable full exploitation of 21st century hiring tools and techniques.
