Whiteman leadership, friends and families welcomed home more than 200 Airmen June 4 following their deployment to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, to provide a forward bomber presence for U.S. Pacific Command.

The four-month deployment was led by the 393rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron and included members of the 131st Bomb Wing.

The 393rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron completed about 120 sorties flying more than 700 hours.

"Our mission was to have a continuous bomber presence in the pacific to promote security and stability," said Capt. Allen Clark, a B-2 pilot with the 393rd Bomb Squadron. "The deployment also provided training for both pilots and air crews."

As the Airmen departed the aircraft, sounds of excitement filled the air as they were reunited with their loved ones.
