From the Command Team

Welcome to the Striker Leadership Library. This library contains suggested media that is relevant to us and our community. This Striker Leadership Library is intended to supplement, not replace, the Chief of Staff's Leadership Library.

The pursuit of knowledge does not end with a certain age or rank; it continues as we journey through our lives and careers. Our goal is that this library will help you to grow and expand your knowledge and expose you to new ideas and perspectives.

Our Striker Leadership Library will slowly change over time as we uncover media and fresh ideas we believe will generate fruitful dialogue. Please check in from time to time to see our latest recommendations for you.

Sincerely,

History

Gen. Ronald Fogleman created the CSAF Professional Reading Program in 1996 to develop a common frame of reference among Air Force members -- officers, enlisted, and civilians -- to help each of us become better, more effective advocates of air and space power. Each CSAF since then has enhanced and continued the Professional Reading Program.

In 2021, Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., revised the program by renaming it as the CSAF Leadership Library and added new media sources including podcasts and documentaries.

Gen. Anthony Cotton built the Striker Leadership Library around his Strategic Vision Lines of Effort: People, Mission, Modernize, and Engage. The Striker Leadership Library is modeled on the CSAF Leadership Library.
